Faculty of Science Television (FOStv) is a public-serving media outlet featuring programming from throughout the Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, the first and premier Science Faculty in the Sri Lankan university system.
FOStv is launched in May 2012, this initiative embraces the core missions of the Faculty of Science of the University of Colombo teaching, research, and public service- through quality, in-depth television that brings to life the tremendous range of knowledge, culture and dialogue generated on the Faculty.
FOStv transports knowledge far beyond the University borders and into the homes and lives of inquisitive viewers around the globe through online Ustream and YouTube.
